THE SHORT VERSION
We do not sell where you walk.
No advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party pixels, and no analytics company being paid in your behaviour. Today we hold an email address, a password we never see, which films you watched and payment records held by Stripe. When the app arrives it will read your location on the device, and send us a position only when you record a hike or add a note — each of which you can switch off.

What this covers
This explains what personal data Pathmagic collects, why, who else touches it and what you can do about it. It covers the website, the films and the Pathmagic app. Pathmagic Ltd, registered in England and Wales under number 17420934 at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, is the controller of that data.
Today Pathmagic is a website and a film library. That means we hold an email address, a password we never see, a display name if you chose one, a record of which films you watched, payment records held by Stripe, and anything you send us through the help centre. Nothing else. The app is in development, and the sections below marked as such describe processing that begins when it launches — not processing happening now.
It is written to be read rather than to be defensible. If a sentence here is doing work you cannot follow, write to us and we will explain it or rewrite it.
